Palace pools hit different

I'm a lover of newness but there's something special about revisiting familiar spaces that start to feel like home. The Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur has a strange, inexplicable pull that makes it one of our favourite homes away from home. The golden hour is surreal - with holy bells ringing at the 18th century Shiva temple at the heart of the property and the air mystically heavy with the collective chirping of what feel like a million birds and peacocks. The poolside is special, the in-between hours of a perfect resort day that started with cultural discoveries and ends at the Rajwada bar that serves some of the best cocktails ever.

I always pack some NADI NADI pieces when we go to Jaipur. While palace pools hit different, finding fleeting moments of joy in the middle of a chaotic work trip is therapeutic. It helps me reconnect with myself and with the very essence of NADI NADI - a state of ongoing inner joy that leaves a space open for the unknown to unfold.
